10Ok, Young Brovaz....I see you Katz gettin' into the battle arenas, now. A word of advice. Turn your jointz up...for volume, but not distortion. And give the crowd and your opponent, some excitement. Changeups!!!! In the arrangements iz Kool, but changeups in the sound and melodies, help alot, in a battle...one solid melody, throughout, iz Kool for an artist...but, for a battle, you need to excite. Actually, when you're submitting for any serious artist, A&R, or executive to listen... you're gonna need to excite their ear, within the first 5 or 10 seconds...then, if you hold them past that, you're gonna need surprises and changeups in the sound, or a definitely undeniable, bangin' melody or sound, that will surely excite the ear and dominate their attention....and make them wanna instant replay. Other than that, I chose Arcade, here. Only because his melody instantly brought to my mind, the likes of Kodak Black and even, Tunechi. I'm sure they would have someone else "produce" the track, adding excitement changeups, and an excellent mix...but, the base elements are definitely more useable. Ok, Famz. Remember, you don't get banana clips in the battle....One shot...make it count. So, musically...pull out the Desert Eagles and 357 Magnums and blow that one shot, loud, solid, and straight. All love. I'm a 5x beat champ. I'm well seasoned in that arena. While this is a "battle" element, Remember these are beats for shopping to artists. I'm a whole different beast if its strict battle time.. I'm used to 45 sec rounds
I understand what you mean and appreciate the advice, but like Kody said this is just an element for us to have fun with. If we upload real battle beats I personally believe no artist is going to buy it because of everything that is going on with that battle beat. There will be no room for the artist.
I'm going with Arcade because the beat sounds more like something an artist would use. It is very in the pocket to what I hear many artists wanting in their beats. DonKody clearly had the "louder" beat, but louder is not always better, and the mix seemed lacking especially in the kick drum. That kick needs to pop out a tad bit more. Could push the bass down a bit to help the kick pop out more. The sidestick sounds small as well.

I feel you I was feeling the same way when voting for other battles. It was hard for me to decide because of genre where totally different. Even now when joining a battle I see now it automatically gives you the choice of picking the beats you classified for the genre. So that will make it easier for us to vote now that the beats will be the same genre
Bro respecfully, I label it i how i feel.. that beat was smooth to me so I labeled it that way... no artist cares that deeply about how a beat is labeled, they care about how it makes them feel.. everything is hybrid-genre production these days.
