nb I don't know if you use fl studio but it sounds like the limiter is on and that's why the rest of the drums drop down when the 808 hits. I never use a limiter.. if you are using a limiter that means you're 808 is over powering everything else and that's why the rest of the drums are being choked out.. hope I was able to help.. it's not easy to learn mixing.. to be really good at it it takes yrs to prefect.. if you have any questions feel free to ask I'm here to help anyone that wants to learn.. I'm not familiar with ableton so I couldn't tell you.. once you learn about stage gaining and ect you will see a difference. I have the best book for teaching you anything and everything about mixing. it's on Amazon for 25 bucks.. it's called the mixing engineers hand book by Bobby owsinski.. and also make sure you always use a vu meter to let you know if you're clipping and to loud on your levels.. it is my engineer bible lol. it has taught me to get my mixes crazy 🔥now.. hope that helps fam 🫡

Nobody... not sure what happened but everytime the bass hit... everything else's volume lowered. Chris... levels were good and structure as well. I do think the beat drop was a bit late at 40sec. I like to do mine between 10-12/15-18 personally.
