Agreed! I made this my beat in 40 min before I went to work! I thought I would get lucky on the draw, but instead drew Bos, with a really good beat. How do I feel about it? Bosbeat sounds like he spent some time on it. It sounds like a beat that is worth spending time on. The strings and vocal sample really, make it feel like it was going somewhere. I liked it a lot. The only critique, was the sax sound sort of... My beat is a throwaway!, Hmm, what was I thinking? well I was thinking that I didn't have enough time. Normally I make lots of beats like this, and then abandon them. You have to normally throwaway a lot of stuff, to get something that's going somewhere. Why submit at all? well for an artist simple beats can sometimes be useful. Also it's good to get in the habit, of trying not to re use beats you have battled with before. The whole point is to make new beats to battle with. So you end up with more beats. What have I learned? I should have probably waited until I had a beat I thought was really good, instead of hoping to match someone else with a not so great beat. Not saying Bos didn't make his beat fast, just saying it sounds like he spent more time on it!
