Don’t Get Left Behind: Are You Ready, or Will You Lose Out?
Producers! You may or may not like what I’m about to share, but if you’re a music producer in the industry right now, you need to hear the truth. The fact is, leasing beats just isn’t making the same kind of money it used to for producers online. You might agree or disagree, but the numbers don’t lie.
As a community of music producers, we need to figure out how to preserve our existence in the industry if we want our talents to sustain us. That’s exactly why I’m reaching out—to show you what we’re doing as a company and how you can be rewarded in a new way.
What I want to introduce to you is something we call BeatPass. It's a program designed to change the business model slightly, so you can build residual income on the back end. Don’t worry—leasing beats isn’t going away. You’ll still be able to sell exclusive rights, track-outs, and unlimited rights for a long time to come. But let’s be real—those transactions can be few and far between. That’s where BeatPass comes in to provide you with a steady income stream through your music.
Adapt or Get Left Behind
Part of being successful is adapting to the culture and understanding the needs of the people you serve. Right now, the music industry has shifted. Technology, innovation, and artificial intelligence have put a dent in the way we used to make money. This should be obvious by now. What BeatPass does is give you a chance to stay ahead of the curve, especially with what AI and other innovations are going to do in the next few years.
If you don’t act now, you may miss out on any significant income from your music in the near future. That’s why we need to shift our mindsets and stay ahead of the game.
How BeatPass Works
BeatPass allows you to offer your audience significant value. It becomes a numbers game. You’ll let artists use your beats first before they’re obligated to pay. I know what you’re thinking—"Allen, this is crazy! Why would I not charge for beats upfront and give my beats away for free?" I’m glad you asked, because I’m about to explain why shifting your business model could be the best move you make.
With BeatPass and the BuyBeats.com platform, you’ll focus on generating income from beat plays, beat sales, and subscriptions. If you can move away from thinking that leasing beats upfront is your big money-maker, and instead focus on continuity (residual income every month), you’ll have no hesitation to get involved with the BeatPass program.
Building Predictable, Residual Income
The new income models will be significant because they allow you to predict your earnings based on how many artists you bring as your customers. When you bring customers to BuyBeats.com, you’ll earn from all of their activities. So instead of focusing solely on leasing beats, you’ll focus on building your subscription revenue.
For example, let’s say you have an email list or a social fan base of 200-300 recording artists. You upload a video on social media, telling these artists that anyone who subscribes through your profile page link will get access to 10 beats in your BeatPass for free for a limited time. These artists pay $9.99 or $19.99 to access those beats because they’ve heard them and want to use them. If just 100 of those artists subscribe, paying $9.99 or $19.99, that’s immediate income for you.
Now imagine you’re doing this every week or month, and the same artists continue to subscribe because they see the value you’re offering. You’re building predictable, recurring income from those subscriptions. Let’s say after a year, you have 100 artists subscribed to you. That’s approximately $1,000 per month, or $12,000 per year.
More Ways to Get Paid
But that’s not all. BuyBeats.com is a collaborative platform. If you invite producers to the platform, you earn a piece of their subscription. If the artists you invite buy beats from other producers, you get a commission. And whenever those artists play other producers’ beats on the platform, you earn stream revenue.
There are more than 13 ways to get paid on BuyBeats.com, simply by inviting artists to subscribe for as low as $9.99 a month into the BeatPass program. You’re no longer focused on $20 beat leases here and there—you’re building a business where you can count on consistent monthly income from paying customers. Even if some cancel, you’ll still have a solid income stream to rely on while you get more to subscribe.
Why Focus on Anything Else?
This is just a small piece of what I could share about the power of BuyBeats.com and the products within it. Why would you focus on anything else right now? This platform combines key business models and strategies designed to help you win. We’ve already paid out thousands in subscription commissions, and yours is waiting for you if you use the system I’ve laid out.
So ask yourself—what else are you doing that has the potential to earn you money like the BuyBeats.com platform and the new BeatPass program? You can engage your artist audience in a new way, bringing them so much value that they stay subscribed. This collaborative effort is exactly what the industry has been missing for producers, so you don’t get left behind while AI and technology try to wipe out music producers.
Producers are still valuable—we just need to change the way we think about earning income. Besides, if you just have hundreds of beats sitting around not making you any money at all, now is the perfect time to put them to use another way.
You can start sharing this information with artists now. You BeatPass Link can be found in your My Marketing Tab in your dashboard.
Will look like the following, just change to put your username and each artist that signs up will be your customer. - https://buybeats.com/FatFingers/beatpass

1I dont think the message should actually be dont get left behind...more how to get ahead...looking at the climate of the industry..you no longer need dsp for success...many artists are going to start investing in themselves...preaching cost cutting by coming here is a great pitch to get artist revenue...the key now is attracting artists..to the website.THEN making them understand the benefits of being here...that should be the message...attracting artists for subscription...which can be a big bag if you grab a popular artist who can bring others so you eat off that as well...sales will come with exclusives...many artists who professionally put out muzik will buy your tracks after they made songs with them like placements....you actually using your beats to pay for promotion...if you really look at it..and the more popular it becomes the more opportunity there is to make money..
