5I am going with Mayank on this. Firstly it was actually a drill beat but secondly, Wug this reminded me way too much of Kanye's Slow Jams and that kinda kills it for me as far as creativity. I mean its an octave lower but its still in the exact same key as Ye's and its pretty much the same exact chops arranged in the same order. If you gonna flip a sample that's already been done, you HAVE to take it in a completely diff direction or else what's the point?
Hey man I kinda agree with a lot of that but this beat was a beat I built around an a set of vocals hence the repeative nature of it.if I sent that you'd probably get a better idea of what I was doing with it...as far as genre this is a sample drill beat...not as drill is dark like NY drill..drill is done different here in Europe and I was trying to make my own lane with it but I appreciate your critique and I'll definitely take some of it on board 💯
wow this was tuff, had to listen a few times, felt the drums and in/out strings/pads and mood on Mayankbeats, I can def hear this joint in background of a movie. Beats by Wuga nice sampling for sure.
