Sway your beat was dope, but it didn't really sound like afro beat to me, it just sounded like regular R&B. I didn't hear the syncopation in the drums, and I didn't really feel that afrobeat bounce. Zurii was a lot closer in that regard in my opinion

Uezurri i went with you because it sounded for afrotype mix on point but you end that beat to quick. Sways beats was a vibe,it was a really close for me to decide this battle.
That's correct! It was originally intended for a sync placement, matched to a promo video. But the customer wanted a darker version. So I've edited the beat, but accidentally saved it over this one and couldn't salvage this project file anymore unfortunately. I'm gonna be using the edited beat in my next beat battle, so stay tuned for that!
