@cino I think Gammo meant the melody loops. Such as the melodies you created that were then looped, not a premade loop. Thinking it was more a figure of speech than him saying you were using loops from a construction kit or did any sampling.
Went with Cino on this one, even though when I see "hiphop" I usually think of traditional boom bap, or G Funk type of beats. I know that "plugg" sound is a subgenre of trap, which is a subgenre of hip hop. Even so, good beat. Cat's beat seemed like a whole bunch of melodies fighting with each other and as a result it sounded confusing to me. Try to get everything to work together instead of against each other. The mixes on both beats were decent.

Voted Cino, beat was pretty good to be honest, a bit simple with the loops, but felt good. Cats, your beat felt a bit cheap, in all honesty (sound/synth use). Both keep going! Both going on the right path :)
