YHWH. Yo your beat smooth as hell in the car bro. Nice clean mix and it gives a chill vibe definitely a good track. But yea do genre battle only with this. I love standard battles cause I mainly do high energy work and I lose a lot in genre battles cause my stuff too raw sometimes. Great work tho. Taking me to a trip. Good vibe.

This beat has been sold as a full exclusive beats. This beat was sold to Kay woods and artist from New Jersey that is here working with me. Y'all definitely be on the look out for that. I'm sure he will do this justice. Also if you want to hear other east coast beats he has jumped on you can check out his YouTube he has a few on there with my work. Kay woods - 55 bars is my fav. He went ham. But he also did a shout out to my Haitian wife and I thought that was dope seeing they both were raised in new Jersey. Just wanted to give a lil back story. A lot of ppl think I do this for a hobbie. No I really do it for the profession. Most of all. But the art of the craft and fun in the heart always #2. hmm ...honest critique..YHWH love that feel it is lofi only issue the chorus alil off tune to me but jmo my only question is why battle in a regular arena?That woulve been tougher in genre due to the mellow energy lofi brings eastcoast is a more energetic genre to battle against...Jayree had more energy and excellent sample selection...but wasnt sold on the chops one sequence I was like oooo and the other one was ok...good battle gotta listen a few times till one stands out...
There is 7 different types of chops in mine. It takes awhile to hear everything I do I'm very complex. I use about 25 layers+ in each track before doing add ins with different things. To make Boom bap without drum breaks or using actual vinyl samples it is difficult to get that real feel. That was a trap style loop I got from a friend and I then stretched to give that sad feel and changed it to 85 bpms then added the vinyl effect to make you believe you are hearing a real sampled piece. #flgang all day.
Now I do feel I could tweak the chops a lil smoother but was at comfortable spot and didn't want to over do it with the blend. Sometimes it doesn't give chop more of "real playing track" so I like to always make hard chops. But as far as the chop patterns I'm comfortable with them. I have many interested in this beat. This style beats your never see on her from me cause they never get past a mp3 before someone buys. Austin Texas loves boom bap idk why. But we think we are NY or something lol
