What if there was some way of doing a beat Auction. Producers put full Exclusive beats aka including masters into a zip file. You upload to the auction house. Artists have 5 days to bid and winner takes all. Can do regular bids or set a hold on the bid until it reaches a number you may pick. Like eBay but for beats. Upload a mp3 and a zip file to the auction and winner gets all files sent to them when they win. What y'all think? Yah or Nay? Can we do something like this??
Great way to get rid of older beats but also sell something fresh and hot and have artists bid war for them.
How I always send Full Exclusive beats is. Mp3, wav, trackouts, all master files including copying all instruments in drum kit into organized folders so the artist can hand it over to an engineer and get to work.
