The first thing you should know before I explain what happened is that the creator of this post ask me for a free membership yesterday for BuyBeats.com and I said NO! The receipt is in my inbox if I need to post it. Second, approximately around 2012, Rocbattle had a team of programmers that I fired and I ended their contract. They decided to keep the database and only release the data because they were pissed that I was firing them. It was sabotage but also my mistake for allowing them to host the site. You live and you learn. That site was a super complex website and I had to hire a "data forensic specialist" to grab data that was all over the place. Contractually, they were obligated to turn over the data but not the database that held the data which some were encrypted. It was as if someone took files that were organized in a file cabinet and threw them all over the place and said here you go and you figure it out. This did create issues with a few producers. Which is fully understandable.
Any other time when people post in other forums or platforms about rocbattle or me on other sites, I never feel the need to defend myself because my intentions are always pure. This time I will address it here. I'm thankful to those who have spoken up and shared the great stuff that shed light on the success that others have found as a result of a product or service I was blessed to be inspired to do. Rocbattle birthed a lot of careers, paid out millions to music producers all around the world, and helped many producers grow in their craft over a 10-year span. Stuff I'm sure this poster couldn't say they contributed to the music production community, along with others who lifted a negative tongue. Rocbattle had some other internal issues that were beyond my control and the reason I chose to shut it down in 2017. Just as an additional note: The site music data was permanently deleted and harddrive cleared. Not sure how some rumors get started but I do know there are about 10,000 producers that can come in on this post and state what you saying never happened to them.
Now is my new focus and what I'm doing with BuyBeats.com exclusively with no partnerships. My goals and plans are to do way more than what I did with RocBattle. When I created Rocbattle, it had never been done or seen before. What I'm doing here with BuyBeats.com, as for the income opportunity, has never been done before as well. So I'm good in my skin regardless of what anyone could say because I know my contribution to the world somehow always helps and changes lives. I could bet almost anything that anyone that has something negative or a misguided opinion to say about a few hiccups can't match what I have contributed to the lives of others. So I rest easy and continue to work hard.

Never meant any trouble just wanted to know if this was a trusting place I actually made the post before I got into a good convo with fat I shouldn’t have acted so rash with the forums and I apologize if I hurt anyones feeling I do want to know by becoming part of this gang how do one promote yourself and how do outsiders get to your beats do buybeats.com advertise to bring in artist do you just battle to get other producers to recognize you or is there a artist side to this site because we have to make money some way and how do you keep up with who I bring to the table if I word of mouth and if some one I tell to come thru do they have to pay a monthly fee to buy beats from me These are question I have if someone can answer I have lots more but these are enough for right nah

I will be adding more in the Support Help section in your member area shortly as well as starting a training series for those that want or need help with marketing their beats. As far as artists, they are signing up every day. The site is called BuyBeats so it is one of the main things we want to happen here. Which to be honest I believe is a better name than rocbattle in the long run since the name implies exactly what producers want artists to do, "BuyBeats". Last, I have more peace in my heart than anything, and want to see everyone win! If you need more guidance, I will show you the way, just inbox me and when I can I will respond.
It IS Rocbattle reborn. But only the good things from Rocbattle. Every business has to learn lessons from previous experiences. I am optimistic about this site, and thought Rocbattle was a great site, but you have to know what you are doing as a producer, know your business, and know how to do business to benefit from a site like this. There are some who complained about the old site because they don't know their way around a computer much, never read the fine details when they sign up, had no business sense, and had unrealistic expectations about themselves, and the site in general. Plus those who were mad about losing battles who went on defaming the site to everyone they knew.
