15This battle was tough. Both were great! I can see different generations of producers voting differently on this. Taking nothing away from either, think I lean to Kut on this one. Good work fellas!
I went with KutMasta because the production sounded much better, and more polished. Great sample choice, nice chops, and much better mix. I know many producers here will try to wow you with their "hat rolls, snare rolls, etc". That doesn't impress me at all. It's a very simple technique in the piano roll. Plus it's a very played out thing. Guys were doing this for days on Rocbattle back in the day, and I see they are still doing it. It sounded cool back then, not so much now considering everybody and their mama is doing this. Outside of the little ear tricks with the trap style beat, it was a rather mundane beat and lacks originality, and creativity. KutMasta has this one easily in my opinion.
